The Atlantic AirVenture Aviation Show promises a fun and educational family day out from 1-5pm. Outdoor displays include light aircraft, hang gliders, paramotorers. RAF Air Cadets return with a Hunter Cockpit & visitors can even sit in to see what being a fighter pilot might feel like. Visit the museum: see cockpits, jet engines, landing gear and a great collection of memorabilia. See a real aircraft repair technique demonstrated and learn how a wind tunnel is used by aircraft designers. Especially for the younger model enthusiast is a 'Harry Ferguson Flyer' Workshop, where children get to make a balsa wood flyer replica of the famous Ferguson Flyer. Adults and children will have the chance to take a lesson in light aircraft simulator or test their skills and judgment in a high fidelity B737-800 Flight Simulator with qualified pilot. A great day out for all aviation enthusiasts!
