Can A Supersonic Jet Travel


Can a supersonic Jet travel through a twister / tornado unharmed?

I was wondering!! Can a supersonic aircraft like a fighter jet that travels @ mach 1+ speeds can swift through a giant tornado that spins over 100km/h unharmed?

It would get rocked and bumped, but, yes it could. But why not simply fly over it? Much simpler.

While not recommended, it probably could be done if absolutely necessary.

The US Air Force's Hurricane Hunters routinely fly into the eye of the storm in C-130 aircraft to do scientific testing of weather conditions inside those big storms.

Unharmed no way! Because after interring in a giant tornado the supersonic aircraft behave like a kite by the air pressure.
